Here you will find all of the awards that are offered by the High Adventure Team of the Greater Los Angeles Area Council. You can also find a significant number of awards that are offered by High Adventure Teams from other Councils.
A High Adventure award is given to an individual to recognize his/her accomplishment. The requirements to earn GLAAC-HAT awards can be found in Hike Aid 6, "High Adventure Awards Program". Other High Adventure Teams set the requirements for their awards.
To obtain an award all GLAAC Units need to prepare the required paperwork and send it, via an email attachment, to: <application@this web site>. All Units will be asked during the checkout process to certify that all of the award requirements have been met.
Stocking Policy
We will attempt to have sufficient stock of all GLAAC-HAT awards. If you find we don't have enough for your needs, please let us know so we can get more on order.
Awards from other councils will not be re-ordered when supplies run out. Please contact the sponsoring council to buy additional awards.
Shipping and Handling
All awards are shipped via USPS. You will be given the options of how you want your awards shipped during checkout. Costs are based on the number of awards and the actual USPS rates. There is no handling fee.
